RICHARD TAMBOR

Richard Tambor is an Artist, a Member of the Association of Restorers and a retired Art School Director. He studied Art at Nassau Community College, Stony Brook, State University of New York, and NYU. He was the Director of Frenchman’s Art School in Palm Beach County, Florida from 1993 to 2006. He received five grants from the Palm Beach County Cultural Center and the MacArthur Foundation to work with “underserved children” to create public art projects in South Florida. His work was selected for the Wyoming Governor’s Capitol Art Exhibition in both 2016 and 2017. Richard’s work has shown in New York, Florida and Wyoming. He lives and works in Jackson Hole. He is a member of the Teton Plein Air Painters.
