Mike Merritt: Teton

“Teton” was hand made in Teton Valley, Idaho. Crafted and assembled using various wood species from all around the globe to make a contrasting expression of different grain patterns and colors. The eyes are a crushed turquoise inlay. This piece was inspired by the greater Yellowstone area, if you look closely in the beard of the Bison you notice a silhouette of the Teton range.
