Laura Vetsch is a potter who currently resides in Teton Valley, Idaho. She prefers working with both smooth porcelain and a more rustic stoneware allowing her to create two distinct collections. The smooth white surface of porcelain is a perfect vessel to display hand drawn images, often of local flora and fauna. Whereas the more coarse earthy feel of her speckled stoneware feels like the natural environments that inspired them. When she’s not in the studio, it's a safe bet that she's somewhere in the Tetons, finding inspiration.
