Brittney Ziebell grew up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire where she first doodled with sidewalk chalk, but she's called the Tetons home for 6+ years. Her passion for chalk began with designing signs and art installations for western weddings in 2016. She became enamored with the high-contrast of white animal skulls on black canvas, framed with colorful wildflowers and grasses of the west. Today, she creates custom work on slate and black canvas, and paints directly on skulls and antlers. She enjoys offering homes and businesses unique alternatives to western skull design. Britt has sold her art locally in Jackson since 2018, and has participated in the Art Association’s summer art fairs and showings at Pearl Street Bagels. Britt’s hope is to continue to design hand-painted skulls, craftily curated antlers, chalk art, and animal skull paintings inspired by Wyoming landscapes. She looks forward to creating more of the wacky, the wild, and the beautiful.
