CHRISTINE MEYTRAS

I was born and raised in the French Alps, studied drawing in high school, and went to les Beaux Arts (Fine Arts School) in Grenoble. I obtained a Maîtrise (master’s degree), cum laude, in art history from the university of Grenoble, France.

I work in a variety of mediums including paint on paper, canvas, and wall murals, I sculpt (bronze, driftwood and cardboard) and have done one installation in Jackson. I have participated in numerous juried exhibits nationally and internationally; in person and online and I have a collage painting in the Wyoming State Museum in Cheyenne at the Capitol.

I have lived in Jackson for over 25 years and am a member of the Art Association.
