Emily Yeates is a traveling multidisciplinary artist whose work is inspired by the patterns of nature. Her drive to create comes from a place of emphasizing the importance of striving to live in rhythm with the environment and tending to the needs of mind, body, and spirit. Her academic background in urban studies & local food systems coupled with her passions of surfing and outdoor recreation influence her migration patterns. Always striving to find local health food stores, farmers markets, and unique cafes. Her current mediums include: clay, 35mm film, watercolor, natural dye, and digital illustration. She currently resides in Jackson Hole, WY where she is stepping out of her comfort zones of the Pacific, learning the landscape of the mountains and gaining a better understanding of the complete water cycle.
